Milled cavity, 27mm depth, 116mm diameter.

Bitumen adhesive heated to approximately 190 degrees is used to line the base of the cavity.

The 360 is placed within the cavity so that the 'shoulders' of the stud sit level with
the road surface.

3)

Any remaining void around the circumference of the stud is topped up with bitumen.
